More than 60 countries and territories, including many emerging, high-growth markets. Caltex has operating companies in the Asia-Pacific region, Africa and the Middle East. In Thailand, Caltex has been well known by Thai people as Star gas station for over 50 years.
The most significant and recent development for Caltex was the merger of its parent companies Chevron and Texaco into ChevronTexaco, which became the fourth largest energy company in the world. With that merger in 2001, Caltex is now part of a global energy company with a vision to be admired for its people, partnership and performance.
In addition to operating synergies, the global ChevronTexaco values of people, partnership and performance reinforced Caltexs strengths. This further enabled the brand to continue building and strengthening relationships with its customers, partners and communities and by helping them achieve their longer term goals and ambitions.
